Recording Services Rates

Pro Tools HD Recording, Mixing, and Mastering as low as $60!

Block rates and demo CD recording, mixing, and mastering packages available.

Studio Services (Tracking, Mixing, Editing, Mastering)

RedRoom Recorders charges a flat rate of $60 per hour for all recording services, including tracking, editing, mixing, and mastering. There may be additional fee for album mastering services, depending upon which service you choose. Please contact us if you would like an estimate for your project.

Discounts and Block Rates

Discounts are available for prepaying or booking blocks of time. Our rate for a 10-hour lock out day is $500. Prepaid blocks of time (10 hours or more) at least one week in advance of your session are $50 per hour. In addition, we offer discounted rates for production houses. Project Guidance Services

Project management services are subject either to a fee of 10% of the total project cost or a flat rate hourly fee, depending on the scope of your needs. Please contact us if you would like an estimate for your project.

Session Musician Fees

All session musicians are independent contractors and will negotiate a rate, either by the hour, song, or project, with the client. Work performed by session musicians is payable upon receipt to the musician. Contact us for additional information.

Studio Recording Packages

RedRoom Recorders currently offers two recording packages:

1 Song Singer/Songwriter Demo Package [$175] - Includes up to 3 hours for tracking, editing, mixing, and mastering one acoustic song (vocals and guitar or keyboard); 1 CD copy for artist. Additional hours will be billed at $50 each.
3 Song Demo Package [$500] – Includes up to 8 hours for tracking and editing, plus up to 2 hours for mixing and mastering for 3 songs; 1 CD copy for each band member (up to 5). Additional hours will be billed at $50 each.
5 Song Demo Package [$1000] – Includes up to 15 hours for tracking and editing, plus up to 5 hours for mixing and mastering for 5 songs; 1 CD copy for each band member (up to 5). Additional hours will be billed at $50 each.

In addition to these special packages, reduced rates are available for production houses and for clients purchasing blocks of time or prepaying for sessions. Contact us for additional information about our recording packages.

Pro Tools Consulting (Pro Tools@Home) 

Our recording engineers provide Pro Tools consulting services on site or via telephone for $60 per hour. Pro Tools @ Home services are billed in 1/2 hour increments, including the Pro Tools engineer’s travel time to and from your location.

Drum Tracks 

Mark Prator provides drum tracking for an additional hourly rate of $25.00 throughout the duration of the tracking session.

Drum Editing & Quantization

RedRoom Recorders charges a flat rate of $60 per hour for drum editing and quantization services. The amount of time required to edit drums will vary based on the song. Please contact us if you would like an estimate.
